A light at the end of the tunnel?
Well, it is mid-May and things seem to be dragging themselves back to a new normal. Will it be July, August or September? Who knows. We have done the measurements and will probably get 16-20 in the venue with more outside if the Govt relaxes the rules on trading. Getting exciting!
Still In Lockdown (May 2020)
We are taking the opportunity of the lockdown to finish all the internal works on the building ready for re-opening. We are testing (too) many wines to make sure we put together a fantastic wine-list. If we haven’t tried it and approved it – it doesn’t get on the list.
Crikey – We’ve been told we have to close – before we’ve even opened!
We will be cracking on when the lockdown comes to end and still aim to bring Vinoteq to life as soon as possible. Watch this space.
Three of the best!
Fantastic news – Abi, Sam and Dave have all passed their WSET Level 2 in Wine. This will help us to bring you quality wines and help you choose which is best for you
Happy New Year – Works are beginning
January 2020 and the workmen are in 1 Cannon Street to get Vinoteq and it’s sister operation Co-Teq ready for a Spring opening. We will post some pictures as this all progresses.
We are opening a wine bar
We have often sat in the town and thought to ourselves “wouldn’t it be great if Dover had a wine bar”
And then the opportunity came along and we were offered this fantastic venue – not only as a bar, but with a basement music offer as well!
It’s now coming up to Christmas and we are awaiting planning and licensing to be resolved and will hopefully be starting the fit out in February for an April opening
Do keep coming back to the site and catch up on our journey. We will also be having advance notice of offers and events for those who sign up to our mailing list
